"Bonjour! I'm Sophie, a certified PPR Pro Level Pickleball Instructor originally from Belgium, now happily residing in Marin County.

As a former D1 Tennis player, I spent my college years at the University of Nevada, Reno, where I earned my degree in International Business and later pursued my MBA while serving as the Women's Tennis assistant coach. I’ve been coaching since I was 16, and my passion for teaching has only grown stronger over the years.

After earning my MBA and leading the Operations Team at a fashion-tech startup (Editorialist), I found my way back to sports in 2022, thanks to a fortunate twist of fate—a tennis injury that introduced me to the world of Pickleball. Now, I’m a 5+ Pickleball player and the proud founder of Sophie Athletics in Marin County, where I bring my love for the game and my coaching expertise to players of all levels.

I’m also the co-founder of S'Cube Academy, a Tennis and Padel Academy in Belgium, so building vibrant sports communities is in my DNA.

Adam is a three-time National champion, multiple medal-winning 5.0 and Senior Pro level player, fully certified and insured through the International Foundation of Players Academy (Advanced 4.0+), the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA Level 2), Professional Pickleball Registry (Pro-level certified). He—and his two sons… now among the best players for their age in the country—have been playing pickleball for the last 11 years.

My journey with pickleball began 3 years ago, and it quickly became more than just a hobby—it’s a passion that I’m eager to share with others. Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced player aiming to refine your skills, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

My coaching philosophy centers around creating a positive, supportive environment where students can thrive. I believe that pickleball is not just about the physical game but also about the community, camaraderie, and fun it brings. I’m committed to helping you enjoy every aspect of the game, from mastering techniques to understanding strategy and building confidence on the court. Let’s work together to elevate your pickleball game and make every session both productive and enjoyable.
